Woodland Fox Lookout Moss Terrarium – Forest Wildlife Scene

A single heartbeat before the leap. This handcrafted live moss terrarium captures the precise instant a wild fox locks onto its prey, preserving one of nature’s most remarkable hunting moments beneath glass. Originally created for SaveAFox Rescue Foundation in Minnesota as a silent auction fundraiser, this design is now available as a made-to-order terrarium.

Each landscape is individually handcrafted using live moss, natural stone, and carefully selected woodland textures. A hand-painted fox stands alert atop a moss covered ridge, creating the feeling that you’ve quietly entered the forest just as the fox pauses to observe its surroundings.

ABOUT THIS TERRARIUM

When SaveAFox Rescue Foundation held a fundraising event in Minnesota, I wanted to create something that celebrated these remarkable animals in a meaningful way.

“The Watch”

The Guardian stands quietly on a moss-covered ridge overlooking the woodland below.

Nothing escapes the Guardian’s attention. Ears turn toward distant sounds while the breeze carries scents through the trees. In the wild, patience is often just as important as speed, and the best opportunity comes to those willing to wait.

For now, the Guardian silently keeps watch.

Every terrarium is handcrafted to order using living moss and natural materials, making each landscape unique while remaining as close as possible to the example shown.

SHIPPING INFORMATION

Each terrarium is handcrafted to order (7–10 days production time) and carefully packaged using specialized materials designed to keep the landscape secure and intact during transit. Orders are processed and shipped in the order they are received.

PLEASE NOTE

• This terrarium contains living moss that will continue to grow and change over time.

• Direct sunlight should be avoided, as it can overheat the terrarium.

• Detailed care & maintenance instructions are included with every order.

• International shipping is unavailable. Live plants cannot be shipped outside the United States due to customs regulations.

• Due to the handmade nature of this product, every terrarium will vary slightly from the examples shown.
