Woodland Fox Hunt Wildlife Scene - Live Moss Terrarium

Inspired by the quiet forests where foxes slip silently through the undergrowth, this handcrafted moss terrarium captures one of nature’s most remarkable hunting moments in miniature. Originally created for SaveAFox Rescue Foundation in Minnesota as a silent auction fundraiser, this design is my favorite of the 3 and is now available as a made-to-order terrarium.

Each landscape is individually handcrafted using live moss, natural stone, and carefully selected woodland textures. A hand-painted fox is captured in mid-pounce, creating the feeling that you’ve stumbled upon a split-second moment hidden deep within the forest.

ABOUT THIS TERRARIUM

Foxes have fascinated me since I was a child. Their intelligence, curiosity, and remarkable hunting abilities make every sighting feel like discovering one of nature’s hidden wonders. When SaveAFox Rescue Foundation held a fundraising event in Minnesota, I wanted to create something that celebrated these incredible animals in a meaningful way.

The Pounce

The Hunter pauses for just a moment.

Hidden beneath the thick moss and woodland plants, a tiny mouse rustles through the undergrowth. Every movement, no matter how small, is carried to the Hunter’s keen ears. With remarkable precision, the Hunter pinpoints the mouse before launching into one perfectly timed leap.

This wild encounter captures one of nature’s most extraordinary hunting techniques.

Every terrarium is handcrafted to order using living moss and natural materials, making each landscape unique while remaining as close as possible to the example shown.

SHIPPING INFORMATION

Each terrarium is handcrafted to order (7-10 days production time) and carefully packaged using specialized materials designed to keep the landscape secure and intact during transit. Orders are processed and shipped in the order they are received.

• This terrarium contains living moss that will continue to grow and change over time.

• Direct sunlight should be avoided, as it can overheat the terrarium.

• Detailed care & maintenance instructions are included with every order.

• International shipping is unavailable. Live plants cannot be shipped outside the United States due to customs regulations.

• Due to the handmade nature of this product, every terrarium will vary slightly from the examples shown.
