DetailsA Place Among the Evergreens is a miniature living landscape inspired by the feeling of disappearing into a quiet pine forest, where the ground is soft with moss and everything beyond the trees seems far away.
Inside the glass bowl, tiny faux evergreen trees rise from a landscape of real living moss and natural stone, creating a little forest that stays green through every season. From across the room it brings a touch of the outdoors inside; up close it becomes a tiny place of its own, filled with texture, mossy patches between the trees, and little details that invite a closer look.
Each terrarium is individually landscaped by hand using living moss and natural materials. Because no two pieces of moss or stone grow quite the same way, every forest develops its own terrain and character while keeping the same peaceful evergreen design.

Create and arrange the landscape yourself. The kit includes all necessary materials, including soil, lava rock, moss, faux pine trees, and step-by-step instructions.
THE DETAILS
Sizes:
• Mini — approximately 6” diameter
• Large — approximately 8” diameter
• XL — approximately 10” diameter
Living landscape: Made with several varieties of real living moss, natural stone, and realistic miniature pine trees. The pine trees are artificial; the moss is alive.
Easy care: Place in bright, indirect light and mist with distilled water approximately every 3–4 weeks, adjusting as needed for your home’s conditions. A 6500K LED grow light can also be used and is available as an add on.
Lid included: A fitted clear acrylic lid helps maintain the humid environment living moss prefers.
Also included: A small spray bottle and complete care instructions.
Indoor display only. Keep out of prolonged direct sunlight, which can overheat the glass and damage the moss. The ideal placement is a few feet from a window or under LED’s.
Shipping: Because this terrarium contains living plant material, it ships within the United States only. Your terrarium will be carefully packaged for its journey and tracking will be provided when it ships. -

Gift wrapping and packaging
Terrariums are packaged with great care keeping safety in mind. Because of that reason, gift wrapping is not an option. However, a personalized gift card and/or black bow is available upon request and is free of charge.
Custom and personalized orders
Custom orders are non-refundable and may take longer to process. Cancellations not accepted on custom work.
If your package is returned to the sender...
Please be advised that if your package is returned due to an incomplete or undeliverable address, meaning it was entered wrong by you at checkout, you will have the option of a the order being mailed again with a corrected address (with additional shipping fees) or a refund (minus the shipping fees and possibly a restocking fee). Custom orders aren't eligible for a refund.
Other circumstances vary, please don't hesitate to reach out and we can work out a solution (I will also reach out to you via Etsy messages in case a package is returned).How are terrariums packaged and shipped?
Terrariums are packaged with great care. Packing material is used both inside and outside the jar so that the contents are not jumbled around during shipping. Any terrarium containing live plants should be unpacked immediately after arrival. Plants cannot survive long periods of time inside the box or with packing material covering them. If you need to keep the terrarium in the box then place it in the refrigerator until needed. This will keep the plant fresh (simulating winter conditions) and green. Remember to remove the packing material prior to storage.
