DetailsInspired by the quiet forests where foxes slip silently through the undergrowth, this handcrafted moss terrarium captures a peaceful woodland moment in miniature. Originally created for SaveAFox Rescue Foundation in Minnesota as a silent auction fundraiser item, this design has become one of my personal favorites and is now available as a made-to-order terrarium.
Each landscape is individually handcrafted using live moss, natural stone, and carefully selected woodland textures. Hand-painted fox figures bring the scene to life, creating the feeling that you’ve stumbled upon a hidden forest clearing where these beautiful animals feel perfectly at home.

Care Level: Easy
• Watering: Light misting with distilled water every 3–4 weeks

ABOUT THIS TERRARIUM
Foxes have fascinated me since I was a child. Their intelligence, curiosity, and quiet nature make every sighting feel like discovering a hidden secret of the forest. When I saw that SaveAFox Rescue Foundation was holding a special fundraising event, I knew I wanted to help.
Rather than simply placing a fox inside a terrarium, I designed an entire woodland habitat around it: a peaceful refuge of moss-covered hills, weathered stone, and native woodland plants where the fox truly belongs.
Whether you choose a single fox quietly exploring the forest or the pair together, each terrarium tells its own story. Every piece is handcrafted to order, so no two landscapes are exactly alike, however it will be as close as possible to the examples shown.
SHIPPING INFORMATION
Each terrarium is handcrafted to order (4–10 days production time) and carefully packaged using specialized materials designed to keep the landscape secure and intact during transit. Orders are processed and shipped in the order they are received.
PLEASE NOTE
• This terrarium contains living moss that will continue to grow and change over time.
• Direct sunlight should be avoided, as it can overheat the terrarium.
• Detailed care & maintenance instructions are included with every order.
• International shipping is unavailable. Live plants cannot be shipped outside the United States due to customs regulations.
• Due to the handmade nature of this product, every terrarium will vary slightly from the examples shown.

Gift wrapping and packaging
Terrariums are packaged with great care keeping safety in mind. Because of that reason, gift wrapping is not an option. However, a personalized gift card is available upon request and is free of charge.
Custom and personalized orders
Custom orders are non-refundable and may take longer to process. Cancellations not accepted on custom work.
If your package is returned to the sender...
If your package is returned due to an incomplete or undeliverable address you will have the option of a replacement (with additional shipping fees) or a refund in full (minus the shipping fees).
Wholesale availability
I do not work on consignment or wholesale at this time. However there may be up to a 25% discount available on large quantities ordered upfront. Contact me for details.
How are terrariums packaged and shipped?
Terrariums are packaged with great care. Packing material is used both inside and outside the jar so that the contents are not jumbled around during shipping. Any terrarium containing live plants should be unpacked immediately after arrival. Plants cannot survive long periods of time inside the box or with packing material covering them. If you need to keep the terrarium in the box then place it in the refrigerator until needed. This will keep the plant fresh (simulating winter conditions) and green. Remember to remove the packing material prior to storage.
