Forever Autumn: Miniature Fall Landscape in Glass Bowl with Preserved Moss & Red Maple Tree

“Little Wild Places” are a collection of miniature seasonal landscapes created in glass bowls for shelves, desks, and small corners that could use a little escape.

This piece in the series is named Forever Autumn, a tiny October afternoon that never ends. Beneath a fiery red maple, a little wooden bench waits among evergreens, preserved moss, natural stones and scattered fallen leaves: a quiet park captured at that fleeting moment when autumn is at its most beautiful. Except here, the leaves never fall and the season never changes.

Each landscape is individually made by hand using preserved and artificial botanicals and natural materials. There’s nothing to water, trim or keep alive - just a little world to enjoy exactly as it is, season after season.

THE DETAILS

• Three sizes available: Mini 6”, Large 8”, and XL 10” glass bowls.

• Made to order: Your landscape will be individually created after your order is placed rather than pulled from ready-made stock.

• One of a kind: Because each piece is handmade and incorporates natural materials, the placement, shape, color and texture of individual elements will vary slightly, but the same materials and layout pictured will be used to create your scene.

• Optional light: Add an LED light to softly illuminate the landscape from above. The light option includes the fitted acrylic lid that supports the light.

• Lid: A lid is not needed for the standard version because this landscape contains no living plants, so one is not included unless the light option is selected. If you’d like a lid without a light, please leave me a note at checkout or message me.

• Care: No watering, trimming, sunlight or plant care required. Keep indoors and out of prolonged direct sunlight to help preserve the colors. Dust gently as needed.

• Materials: Glass bowl, preserved & faux moss, dried botanicals, artificial trees, miniature hand-painted elements, natural stone and other natural materials. The landscape is held together by epoxy resin at the base.

• Shipping: Each landscape is carefully packed for its journey to you. Because these are made to order, please allow the stated processing time before shipment. Tracking is provided once your order is on its way.

• Indoor display only: Designed for shelves, desks, bookcases, reading nooks and other indoor spaces.
