Woodland Fox Trilogy Live Moss Terrarium Set – Three Forest Wildlife Scenes

Inspired by the quiet forests where foxes slip silently through the undergrowth, this handcrafted collection captures three peaceful woodland moments in miniature. Originally created for SaveAFox Rescue Foundation in Minnesota as a silent auction fundraiser, the original trilogy received such an enthusiastic response that I decided to recreate it as a made-to-order collection.

Each landscape is individually handcrafted using live moss, natural stone, and carefully selected woodland textures. Hand-painted fox figures bring every scene to life, creating the feeling that you’ve stumbled upon three hidden moments unfolding deep within the forest.

ABOUT THIS COLLECTION

Foxes have fascinated me since I was a child. Their intelligence, curiosity, and quiet nature make every sighting feel like discovering a hidden secret of the forest. When SaveAFox Rescue Foundation held a fundraising event in Minnesota, I wanted to create something that celebrated these remarkable animals in a meaningful way.

Rather than designing a single fox terrarium, I created three woodland scenes that together tell a story.

“The Watch” captures the quiet patience of a fox standing alert, listening to the sounds of the forest.

“The Pounce” freezes the split-second precision of a hunt, one of nature’s most remarkable displays of timing and instinct.

“The Yawn” brings the story to a peaceful close as the fox returns to its woodland den to rest beneath a blanket of moss.

Together, these three terrariums celebrate the natural behaviors of wild foxes while creating a cohesive woodland display. Every collection is handcrafted to order using living moss and natural materials, making each one unique while remaining as close as possible to the examples shown.

SHIPPING INFORMATION

Each terrarium is handcrafted to order (7-10 days production time) and carefully packaged using specialized materials designed to keep the landscapes secure and intact during transit. Orders are processed and shipped in the order they are received.

• These terrariums contain living moss that will continue to grow and change over time.

• Direct sunlight should be avoided, as it can overheat the terrariums.

• Detailed care & maintenance instructions are included with every order.

• International shipping is unavailable. Live plants cannot be shipped outside the United States due to customs regulations.
